As many of you may know from following my other social media accounts, I am currently directing the SCAD capstone film "Zantu." I am happy to announce that our team of 6 students is wrapping up pre-production and ready to carry on to the production stage!

A bit of information about the film, for those who are not aware:
"Zantu" takes place in a sci-fi fantasy world, on a distant planet populated with vast jungle biomes and a vast nature-centric civilization. Our protagonist is a civilian named Zantu. Alone and confused, Zantu awakens a dormant magic deep within ancient ruins. To escape, he must fight an internal battle - or lose himself in the process.
To celebrate our progress, I'd like to talk a bit about Zantu from before the film was greenlit at SCAD. The character and world were first imagined back in 2017, where I created the earliest designs of our alien character and the ruins he happens upon. All I knew was that I wanted this character to be part of a jungle-based civilization, where he would have to go on a journey to discover and hone his newfound magic powers. When the film was greenlit in May 2020, I teamed up with Art Director Skylar O'Brien to fully flesh out the story and develop it to what it is today!
That said, I am very excited to share with all of you what we've been brewing up once the film is released in Spring 2021! In the meantime, you can follow our progress through our social media links and our website (links below).
